Metering Facility Maintenance Senior Engineer

The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Metering Facility Maintenance Senior Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our metering facilities, ensuring that our customers receive accurate and reliable energy readings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement preventive and corrective maintenance of WESM revenue metering installations within the area of responsibility.
  • Direct interface with trading participants (GenCo, Distribution Utility, Electric Cooperative, Embedded Generators) in the field during the implementation of maintenance activities, meter data retrieval, and other metering-related activities.
  • Onsite implementation of installation, relocation, testing, commissioning, preventive and corrective maintenance of metering assets, including the corresponding documentation in accordance with WESM and internal business processes.
  • Manage onsite maintenance-related activities such as tools, equipment, and personnel safety management, security of metering installations, and proper coordination with trading participants.
Requirements:
  • Registered Electrical Engineer or Registered Electronics and Communication Engineer.
  • Three (3) years of relevant experience.
