Senior 3D Character Artist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior 3D Character Artist to join our team at Gameloft. As a key member of our art team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality 3D characters and creatures for our upcoming game project.
Key Responsibilities:- Create detailed and accurate 3D character models using industry-standard software such as 3DSMAX, Maya, and Blender.
- Develop and implement texture and material authoring skills using tools like Photoshop and Substance.
- Collaborate with other disciplines, including Design, Concept Art, Animation, Tech Art, and VFX, to ensure that characters are fully realized and meet the game's artistic vision.
- Work closely with the Lead 3D Character Artist to ensure that the visual target is always exceeded and stylistically consistent.
- Review and improve assets to ensure they meet the game's design and technical requirements.
- 6+ years of experience as a Character Artist in the game industry.
- High-quality portfolio showcasing gamedev-relevant 3D character art, preferably with an emphasis on stylization.
- Excellent understanding of game mechanics related to characters, objects, and environments.
- Experience integrating 3D assets into industry-leading game engines such as Unity or Unreal.
- Proficiency in modeling programs and texture/material authoring tools.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate with every department of a game development team.
