Key Responsibilities- Support the Senior Legal Counsel in staying up-to-date with and advising on relevant matters of broadcast regulation, including content ratings, protection of minors, European Works quotas, and advertising rules.
- Assist with and respond to queries from the business on various contracting matters for Iberia and the wider EMEA business, including channel distribution, programme acquisitions, ad sales, sponsorship, and client partnerships.
- Support the Senior Legal Counsel in coordinating, preparing, and submitting regulatory filings, such as CNMC information requests, Socrates reports, and Broadcasting and Investment Quota declarations.
- Advise internal stakeholders on programming rights and restrictions, and maintain the programme rights database.
- Support the wider International Networks and DTC Legal team in EMEA with new vendor onboarding, security reviews, contract reviews, and reports.
- Certified to practice law in Spain and eligible to work in Spain.
- Excellent communication skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Flexibility and good interpersonal skills, with a proactive can-do approach and ability to work as part of a team across different business areas.
- Able to demonstrate a strong interest in media and intellectual property.
- Fluent English language (written and spoken).
