Revenue Management Specialist: Airline Services Billing Expert

**About the Role:**

We are seeking an experienced Revenue Management Specialist to join our team within the Airline Services business unit. As a key member of the Services and Implementation (S&I;) team, you will be responsible for managing effort day-related products, handling contract fulfillment, and billing activities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in revenue management, with expertise in billing, associated business controlling, and reporting Amadeus revenues related to Airline Services. Additionally, you should have excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work closely with delivery, project, and program managers.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Facilitate monthly information gathering from relevant stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely billing.
  • Ensure contractual commitments are billed accurately and deadlines and KPIs are met.
  • Define, review, and validate requirements for reporting to provide revenue visibility to the Airline Services business unit.
  • Manage and improve accrual information transfer correctly for Amadeus IT Group.
  • Ensure proper revenue recognition adjustments by applying IFRS (IFRIC 18, Accruals) by providing preselection of contracts that are qualified to POC to the Revenue Recognition team.
  • Provide support on deferred revenue recognition and perform monthly billing comparison analysis for products.
  • Support internal and external audits and ensure that the billing is aligned with contractual conditions both in terms of revenue and deadlines so that revenue management KPIs are met.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in revenue management, preferably in the airline industry.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of SAP Billing module and revenue management procedures.
