We're seeking a dynamic Associate Account Executive who will drive new business acquisition and additional consumption across our strategic customers. Working closely with the Strategic Account Director and internal departments, this role will improve the velocity of business and develop solutions that serve the best interests of our customers at MongoDB.

About the Role

  • Develop and lead inbound and outbound campaigns from idea-generation through to qualified call and close, working closely with the Strategic Account Director.
  • Gain strong sales and product knowledge to effectively interact with IT and business decision makers via telephone and email.
  • Become a trusted advisor to help improve overall product engagement and meet customer business objectives and growth plans.
  • Nurture early phase opportunities for future pipeline potential and drive incremental consumption and retention within existing accounts.
  • Work with Marketing to conduct seminars, assist with trade shows, and other marketing-related events.
  • Invest in self-development, focusing on skills and attributes necessary for success in your core role and future career advancement.

About You

  • 2-3 years of experience in Sales or customer-facing roles; database or software experience preferred.
  • A proven history of consistent goal achievement in a highly competitive environment (top 10% performer) and promotions within the same organization.
  • An energetic, upbeat, entrepreneurial teammate with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience using Salesforce.com and a college degree or equivalent work experience are required.
  • Familiarity with database, SaaS, and open-source technology is a plus.

Salary Range:$60,000-$80,000 per annum, depending on location and performance.
