Job Title: Team Lead Domestics

DSV is a leading company in the transportation and logistics sector, with professionals in over 90 countries. We are looking for a Team Lead Domestics to join our delegation in San Fernando de Henares, Spain.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead our domestic operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the team, ensuring quality of service and cost control, and coordinating national deliveries and pickups.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the domestic operations team to achieve quality of service and cost control targets.
  • Monitor KPIs (deliveries, quality, costs, etc.) to ensure compliance with objectives.
  • Control and optimize costs.
  • Coordinate with local suppliers to resolve delivery issues, negotiate tariffs, and prepare proposals.
  • Responsible for monthly area closure (establishing income and costs by transportation).
  • Coordinate and motivate the team.
  • Coordinate national deliveries and pickups.
  • Responsible for warehouse management: optimizing, streamlining, and developing processes, as well as coordinating the human team.
  • Search for efficiency and effectiveness in all operational processes of the warehouse.
  • Organize team tasks and create personnel and warehouse control schedules.
  • Conduct daily floor checks to detect errors.
  • Prepare statistics and track merchandise.
  • Plan layout changes for the transit warehouse, control material and machinery status, and maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness.
