Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in the Drive Train department. As a key member of our global team, you will be responsible for planning, calculating, designing, developing, and validating mechanical concepts and subsystems for our renewable energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop mechanical components, such as large casted components, forged structural components, suspension systems, fixation mechanisms, and subsystems.
- Explore innovative mechanical concepts and complete complex mechanical studies and designs.
- Clarify design and interface requirements with stakeholders.
- CAD design using NX and Teamcenter.
- Perform rough calculations on main components using analytical methods.
- Prepare technical documentation, including 2D drawings and project deliverables.
- Execute design reviews and balance important requirements.
- Release Engineering Bills of Materials.
- Participate in prototype and pre-series assembly, and implement lessons learned.
- Academic degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar.
- Thorough practical experience and responsibility in mechanical engineering.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a global team and manage cultural differences.
