We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to lead our data centre project in Bilbao. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of all project phases, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Project Leadership: Spearhead the planning, coordination, and execution of all project phases, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Engineering Expertise: Leverage your in-depth knowledge of civil, structural, architectural, or mechanical/electrical engineering to provide strategic insights and solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
- Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative environment by effectively communicating with cross-functional teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project integration.
- Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous quality control measures to guarantee that the project aligns with design specifications, industry regulations, and client expectations.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies, ensuring the project progresses smoothly without compromising safety or quality.
- Budget Oversight: Work closely with the finance team to monitor and control project budgets, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost-effectiveness.
- Client Engagement: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their concerns, and providing regular updates on project progress.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of local and industry-specific regulations, ensuring that the project meets all necessary compliance standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 7+ years of expertise in civil, structural, architectural, or mechanical/electrical disciplines.
- Proven success with 4-5 years in the German market.
- Preferred proficiency in German language.
- Background in engineering with a focus on design.
