Job Description

Amazon Operations is the backbone of the Amazon customer experience, with a strong focus on teamwork, diversity, and a shared work ethic. As an engineering intern, you will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects that support the development of the engineering field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, improve, and innovate order fulfillment infrastructure throughout the large-scale supply chain network.
  • Manage, design, and implement small to medium scope integrated automation projects with system elements such as high-speed sortation, multiple conveyors, package lines, and/or robotic work cells.
  • Work on a program to train technicians in the basics of control systems fault finding to raise the level of knowledge within the site.
  • Support within the EU Controls network on a project to enhance the capability to monitor MHE metrics and provide visualization and data to internal customers.
  • Develop alongside global teams to support the installation and commissioning of new equipment, including project managing implementation of new processes.
