Pharmacists at Generika Drugstore are responsible for ensuring the safe and effective supply of generic medicines to our customers.
They maintain and improve public health by providing advice, information, and prescription medicines while adhering to legal and ethical guidelines.
Our pharmacists also sell over-the-counter medical products and instruct patients on their proper use and administration.
- Prepare orders and fill prescription forms
- Dispense drugs and conduct counseling for customers
- Order and store medicines, ensuring their safety, purity, and effectiveness
- Dispense medications according to prescriptions issued by authorized medical practitioners
- Oversee packaging, labeling, measuring, compounding, storing, charging, and recording medications used in patient care
- Review prescriptions for appropriateness of therapy and ensure correct dosages
- Advise patients and care providers of potential drug interactions, side effects, storage information, and medication use instructions
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory bodies
- Maintain records of FDA inspections and government permits
- Receive and record adverse drug reactions or product complaints
- Collect and receive special situation reports
- Report safety information to the PV team
- Maintain and monitor License to Operate validity
- Comply with findings and temporary suspensions for applied LTO permits
- Present drug lectures to medical, nursing staff, physicians, and other groups
- Prepare sterile products for patient administration and determine preparation, storage, and stability requirements
- Assist clinicians in establishing protocols for investigational drugs
- Develop or participate in clinical pharmaceutical research
- Serve as a preceptor for pharmacy interns
Our ideal candidate should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy with a Licensed/Board Passer Pharmacy
- At least 2 years of work experience in a related function and level (Retail Drugstore)
- Familiarity with Point-of-sale Systems (POS)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to exercise tact and diplomacy
- Strong interpersonal and customer-centric skills
- Team player with time management and analytical skills
