Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced professional to implement procurement strategies across Europe, focusing on competitive buying, sustainable sourcing, and building partnerships for logistics procurement. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering procurement projects with significant cost savings and efficiency improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage relationships, negotiations, and allocations with suppliers for warehousing and transportation services.
  • Support Europe's competitive buying initiatives and assist in the annual tender process for the European cluster.
  • Aid in the procurement contracting process and contract management for designated portfolios.
  • Contribute to sustainability projects and initiatives, such as alternative fuels and energy-efficient operations.
  • Implement and execute procurement strategy, ensuring compliance and advancement of the digital agenda.
  • Provide subject-matter expertise and foster value creation opportunities across various European logistics sub-portfolios.
  • Analyze data for trends, patterns, and insights beneficial to business.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Critical SOL (Standards of Leadership) behaviors, including personal mastery, passion for high performance, purpose and service, and business acumen.
  • A bachelor's degree and minimum 3 years' experience in procurement or logistics, with a preference for 5 years.
  • Preferred experience within the FMCG industry or a large, complex organization with significant portfolio and market knowledge.
