- Design and Deliver Data Maturity Models: Design and deliver data maturity models to assess and improve data governance capabilities across the organization.
- Plan and Execute Workshops and Reviews: Plan and execute workshops, walkthroughs, and reviews with stakeholders to ensure data governance artifacts are endorsed and implemented.
- Define and Measure Data Governance KPIs: Define and measure data governance KPIs to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Coordinate Data Governance Audits: Coordinate data governance audits to ensure compliance with data governance policies and standards.
- Support Digital Core Business Partners: Collaborate with Digital Core business partners to build a stronger operating model that brings data governance roles, the data governance function, and technology teams together.
- Work with Stakeholders: Work with various stakeholders across the organization to achieve goals defined in the digital strategy and data domains roadmaps.
- Develop End-to-End Data Lifecycle Management Approach: Support the development and maintenance of an end-to-end data lifecycle management approach, leveraging the Data Management Enterprise Process.
- University Degree: Hold a university degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Experience in Data Management: Have 5+ years of experience working in data management in a large organization with a complex data landscape, preferably in the energy sector.
- Specialist in Data Governance: Be a specialist in designing and implementing data governance, with experience or a good understanding of master and reference data management, data quality management, metadata management, enterprise data architecture, and data security practices.
- Facilitation and Communication Skills: Possess strong facilitation skills with the ability to drive progress and find solutions to issues, excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Cloud and Data Management Trends: Be familiar with cloud and data management trends, including open-source projects, methodologies, and data management solutions such as data catalogs and data quality tools.
- Proven Track Record: Have a proven track record of operating within large data governance programs, with expert understanding of existing data management frameworks and best practices.
- Business Process Management: Understand business process management, workflow, and integration methods and tools.
- Flexibility and Adaptability: Remain flexible to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
