About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Store Construction Project Specialist to join our Property & Network Development Team in Madrid. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the successful and efficient roll-out of our new Pandora store concept, as well as the construction and fit-out of our new stores in Spain and Portugal.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage site surveys for new openings and remodeling projects.
  2. Prepare briefs for each new location and identify potential key constraints of the premise to enable the kick-off of the Store design phase.
  3. Coordinate store design with our Global Store Design team to ensure final drawings take into account premise specificities and legal market constraints.
  4. Manage the tendering process and GC selection.
  5. Create schedules for projects and share them with internal and external parties.
  6. Manage and monitor project schedules within budget guidelines.
  7. Build and maintain trustful relationships with suppliers and external parties.
  8. Consolidate, communicate, and manage all issues and risks affecting the project.
  9. Communicate project status across all relevant departments to ensure on-time delivery.
  10. Monitor and evaluate vendor performance during the construction phase.
  11. Report on progress through all stages with the team manager and internal stakeholders.
  12. Manage the handover of new stores to the retail team.
  13. Lead post-project analyses, adapt, and optimize existing methods.
Requirements
  1. Technical degree in civil engineering, construction management, architecture, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years' experience in a retail construction role, preferably in fast-moving retail.
  3. Extensive project management experience and excellent understanding of the total project lifecycle, from dealing with new contractors and partners through the handover stage.
  4. Must be structured, organized, and detail-oriented.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish, with an operational level of English required. French or Portuguese would be a plus.
  6. Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
  7. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, in full, and within budget.
  8. Ability to find creative solutions to complex issues.
