Job Title: Senior R&D Engineer

At Ansys, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior R&D Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software products and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in planning, architecture, and research to drive innovation and improve our software products.
  • Develop complex software solutions using Angular and other relevant technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software products.
  • Contribute to the development of reusable styling frameworks and ensure consistency across our software products.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and improvement in our software products.
Requirements:
  • BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 5 years' experience, MS with 3 years' experience, or PhD with 1 year experience.
  • Commercial experience with Angular 2+ (preferably 15 and above).
  • Commercial experience in SASS framework.
  • Experience in developing enterprise applications using contemporary design patterns like factory, observer, singleton etc.
  • Experience developing data-driven reusable components for large data display.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Excellent technical knowledge and commercial experience with Angular or other popular frontend component frameworks (react and vue).
  • Experience architecting and building reusable styling frameworks.
  • Experience with build tools like node and npm.
  • Experience with task/automation frameworks like github actions.
  • Understanding of the atomic design methodology.
  • Passion for crafting robust and efficient code.
  • Experience delivering high-quality products in a large-scale commercial software development environment.
  • Understanding of customer requirements and tools used in this domain.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a geographically distributed team.
