About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our Ring Device Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and efficient software systems that meet the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop distributed systems and microservices
- Implement robust and maintainable code with clear documentation
- Deliver customer value in an iterative fashion while working towards longer-term systems to solve roadmap goals
- Communicate status and changes to stakeholders and keep them informed of updates
- Implement test automation on all code through unit testing and integration testing
Requirements:
- Experience in professional software development
- Experience programming with modern languages such as Java, C++, or C#
- Experience contributing to the architecture and design of new and current systems
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices
