About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Engineer to join our team at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC). As a Research Engineer, you will play a key role in securing processing environments for analyzing sensitive data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Landscape current developments around secure processing environments across domains in Europe, considering existing and upcoming regulations.
  • Analyze Virtual Research Environment features to extend and develop new ones, if necessary, to support trustable data analytics in major institutional, local, national, and European projects and initiatives.
  • Evaluate current trusted communication channels among relevant data repositories and archives, and design strategies for data sharing.
