About the Role
As a Sales Performance Manager, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, fostering relationships with existing customers, and driving sales revenue growth. Your expertise in global forwarding will enable you to develop tailored solutions for clients, leveraging C.H. Robinson's comprehensive logistics services.
You will work closely with the sales team, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless execution of sales activities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building trust with customers and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Manage customer interactions, including fostering relationships, making customer calls, and closing deals.
- Utilize CRM tools to identify, track, and pursue new business opportunities.
- Visit customers and potential clients within assigned territories to build relationships and promote C.H. Robinson's services.
- Effectively execute sales activities to meet or exceed daily, monthly, or annual targets.
- Contribute to the regional sales team by sharing best practices, ideas, and opinions to support the success of the entire sales team.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of operations experience from a freight forwarder.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in account management or sales.
- Frequent travel within assigned territory, minimum 3-4 days per week.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
- Strong ability to persuade, motivate, and influence others.
- Self-driven, results-oriented individual with a hunter mentality.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs.
