About the Role

As a Retail Area Manager at Columbia Sportswear Company, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales professionals across 25 El Corte Inglés (ECI) concessions in Spain. Your primary goal will be to deliver exceptional customer experiences and achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

Lead a team of 3 ECI Area Coordinators and approximately 70 Columbia staff members to deliver exceptional customer experiences and achieve sales targets.

Partner with HR on hiring, onboarding, and training to ensure a high-performing team.

Review weekly sales data, share insights, and identify areas for improvement to drive business growth.

Regularly visit ECI locations to meet your team and provide feedback to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Negotiate with ECI centers and floor managers for better store locations to maximize sales potential.

Oversee the opening and closing of concessions to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Work closely with the Account Services Rep to manage product levels and coordinate inventory.

Coordinate visual merchandising and promotional offers to drive sales and customer engagement.

Assist the Key Account Manager with ECI wholesale activities to drive business growth.

Requirements

2 to 4 years' experience managing a large sales team in retail.

Strong knowledge of retail management and customer service tools.

Excellent communication and leadership skills to motivate and coach staff.

Ability to make decisions independently and drive business growth.

Strong problem-solving skills to overcome challenges and achieve sales targets.
