About the Position

We are seeking an experienced researcher to join our Computational Genomics group at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center. The successful candidate will contribute to our research line on generating risk scores for common diseases, using classical and AI approaches, including ML and LLM-based strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to scientific research and publications
  • Participate in technical meetings with internal and external collaborators
  • Supervise junior researchers and provide mentorship
Requirements
  • PhD in computational biology, bioinformatics, physics, AI, or related fields
  • Knowledge of UNIX/Linux environments and proficiency in Python, R, or equivalent programming languages
  • Excellent scientific publication track record
