We are looking for an experienced Administrative/Accounting Officer to join our finance team at Zoco Home. As a key contributor, you will be responsible for managing accounting tasks, administrative duties, and providing exceptional support to the accounting team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transaction Recording: Accurately record expense and income invoices, amortisations, and payroll at the end of each month.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Verify all bank transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
  • Payment Tracking: Monitor incoming and outgoing payments.
  • Tax Compliance: Handle VAT, intra-community VAT, European VAT for individuals, and rental withholdings.
  • Journal Management: Manage journal entries and maintain accurate account balances.
  • Consultation: Collaborate with the accounting consultancy for financial accuracy.
  • Intrastat Document Preparation: Prepare and submit Intrastat documents.
  • Monthly Invoicing: Manage monthly billing, commissions, customer returns, and corrective invoices.

You will also assist with invoicing and payments, cash control, document filing, supplier management, and other administrative tasks.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Good English and Spanish
  • Proven experience in accounting and administrative roles
  • Proficiency in accounting software (preferred Odoo) and Excel
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication skills in English and Spanish
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
