About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Java Developer to join our team at EPAM. As a Lead Java Developer, you will be responsible for leading the development of complex software systems using Java and related technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of innovative analytical solutions using Java and related technologies.
  • Work closely with product and engineering teams to understand requirements, evaluate new features, and architecture to drive decisions.
  • Build collaborative partnerships with architects and key individuals within other functional groups to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Perform detailed analysis of business problems and technical environments to design quality technical solutions.
  • Actively participate in code review and test solutions to ensure they meet best practice specifications.
  • Build and foster a high-performance engineering culture, mentor team members, and provide the team with the tools and motivation to succeed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience of leading development teams and managing complex software projects.
  • Strong experience in Java, SpringBoot, AWS, AWS Lambda, Apache Kafka, and related technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Java, AWS, AWS Lambda, event-driven/microservices/serverless architecture, and establishing engineering excellence.
  • Design Principles and Design Patterns implementation experience.
  • Wide knowledge and experience with CI/CD.
