Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Corporate Attorney to join our team at Werfenlife Sa. as a key member of our Legal Department.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide legal support to our business units, focusing on venture capital investments, mergers and acquisitions, and other commercial transactions. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing sound legal advice to Werfenlife Sa. and its affiliates, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and agreements.
  • Supporting the Business Development team in venture capital deals, including due diligence processes, negotiation sessions, and post-closing follow-up.
  • Coordinating with external lawyers and managing their budgets, as well as holding regular meetings with team members and counterparties.
  • Providing legal guidance on commercial contracts, including manufacturing, procurement, supply, and distribution agreements.
  • Participating in due diligence processes and drafting/reviewing due diligence reports.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Law degree (Bachelor's or equivalent)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate law, with a focus on venture capital and mergers and acquisitions.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
