Senior Construction Cost Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Cost Engineer to join our EMEA Construction Cost Control team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing cost support, guidance, and recommendations to the project delivery team to ensure cost management and analysis across a portfolio of fast-paced construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Engage and manage third-party Quantity Surveyors to ensure accurate cost estimates and validate construction cost estimates at various stages of design.
- Work seamlessly with multi-disciplinary teams, both internal and external, to communicate cost control goals to all stakeholders effectively.
- Identify Value Engineering opportunities in the design and quantify the savings, as well as identify project risks and the financial cost impacts associated with them.
- Update the repository for historical data, define and track cost performance metrics, and lead monthly cost reporting.
- Analyze and provide timely feedback of vendor proposals using AWS benchmark data, create accurate bid leveling documents, and validate the final award amount and scope based on contract documents.
- Implement, maintain, and execute all cost control, change management, progress, and performance reporting, validate construction change cost impacts, and ensure vendor invoices are accurate and timely.
- Support the construction team with project close-out and final payments, deliver results for multiple projects with completing priorities on a consistent basis, and demonstrate the ability and willingness to think outside of the box to find creative and innovative solutions to reduce costs with no impact on quality and reliability.
