About the Role
We are looking for an exceptional individual to join our team as a Product Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for contributing to the lifecycle of SITA OptiFlight and its multiple modules, from strategic planning and development to market introduction and continuous improvement.
Your Responsibilities
• Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape
• Translate insights into product features and enhancements
• Engage with airline customers to gather feedback and understand their operational challenges
• Work closely with Engineering, Data science, and Product Design teams to ensure the product is technically sound and user-friendly
• Act as a key subject matter expert (SME) in flight optimization solutions within the organisation
• Define and prioritize features and enhancements based on market research, customer feedback, competitive analysis, and regulatory requirements
• Create and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap that guides development efforts and aligns with business goals
Your Qualifications
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the airline industry, ideally in Flight Operations
• Degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience in aviation
• At least 2 years of product management experience with a track record of managing product roadmaps and SaaS product development
• Good understanding of product management best practices, including agile methodologies, product lifecycle management, and UX/UI principles
• Proven track record of successfully bringing software products to market, from conception to launch
• Knowledge of aircraft performance, flight operations, and aviation data analysis
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, extract insights, and make data-driven decisions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and influence cross-functional teams in a matrix environment
• Strong presentation skills
• Passion for sustainability and a commitment to delivering innovative solutions that make a positive impact
