Job Summary

As an HR Supervisor at KBR, you will oversee the daily operations of the Human Resources department, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of HR services. Your primary responsibility will be to supervise and support HR staff, manage HR processes, and contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise HR staff, including recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and professional development.
  • Manage the full cycle of the recruitment process, from job posting and candidate sourcing to interviewing and onboarding.
  • Oversee employee relations activities, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations by staying up to date with changes and advising management on necessary actions.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to promote a fair and inclusive work environment.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
  • Coordinate employee training and development initiatives to enhance skills and competencies across the organization.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and documentation, including personnel files, payroll records, and reports.
  • Conduct investigations into employee complaints or misconduct allegations, following established protocols and ensuring confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with department managers to address staffing needs, performance issues, and workforce planning strategies.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR-related matters, including performance management, career development, and employee relations.
  • Monitor and analyze HR metrics, such as turnover rates, absenteeism, and employee satisfaction, to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Participate in HR-related projects and initiatives, such as HRIS implementation, diversity and inclusion programs, and employee engagement surveys.
  • Serve as a liaison between employees and management, facilitating communication and fostering a culture of transparency and trust.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must be bilingual in English & Spanish
  • 5 years minimum of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, Collective Labor Agreements, and best practices.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including team management, coaching, and conflict resolution.
  • Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Military Base Access
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card
