Job Title: Data Analytics Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Data Analytics Engineer to join our team at Dynatrace. As a key member of our People & Culture leadership team, you will be responsible for developing analytics data models using Snowflake, DBT, and PowerBI to deliver data insights.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with HR stakeholders to gather and analyze data requirements for various People & Culture reporting dashboards.
  • Analyzing data coming from various HR systems such as UKG, SAP SuccessFactors, SmartRecruiters, etc.
  • Creating and maintaining robust data models to support analytics reports for the P&C team.
  • Ensuring data integrity and consistency, while safeguarding sensitive information using effective data masking policies.
  • Collaborating with the Governance team to ensure data processes adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Documenting technical solutions, processes, and various data artifacts.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in People Analytics with a strong focus on SQL programming.
  • Hands-on experience in Snowflake and DBT is required; the candidate must have at least one production implementation experience using these technologies.
  • Advanced SQL and data modeling skills.
  • Knowledgeable about data warehousing, modeling, and reporting concepts.
  • Experience with Fivetran, Boomi, Github, JIRA.
  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors is strongly preferred.
  • Must have experience handling sensitive PII data and working with HR data and metrics.
  • Must have experience in analyzing, manipulating, and dealing with large scale data from any HRMS system.
  • Experience in any reporting platform such as Power BI and Tableau.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to high-quality analytics deliverables.
  • Competent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
  • Scripting experience in Python, JavaScript, or any other language is a plus.
  • Able to work as a business partner to People and Culture and demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively.
