Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Junior Systems Administrator to join our dynamic team. As a Junior Systems Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our internal IT infrastructure, maintaining our systems, and assisting with our cutting-edge location-based VR installations.
Key Responsibilities- Hardware and Software Maintenance: Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, servers, and network equipment to ensure seamless operation.
- System Performance Monitoring: Monitor system performance to ensure reliability and security across Univrse's internal IT infrastructure and LBVR installations.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support to end-users, helping to troubleshoot and resolve IT-related issues in a timely manner.
- Network Management: Support the IT team in managing network issues, including the configuration of servers and workstations.
- VR Installation Support: Participate in proactive monitoring and maintenance of VR installations at client venues, ensuring seamless operation.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Collaborate with the support team to document IT processes, assist in maintaining accurate records of hardware and software inventory, and create user manuals.
- System Backups and Recovery: Help with routine system backups and recovery procedures.
- IT Project Implementation: Participate in the implementation of IT projects and initiatives, assisting in system optimization and contributing to process improvements.
- Industry Trends and Emerging Technologies: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies to contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
- Operating System Fundamentals: Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux, MacOS) and networking fundamentals.
- IT Hardware and Software Knowledge: Familiarity with IT hardware, software, and network equipment.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Communication and Teamwork: Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Adaptability and Willingness to Learn: Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Time Management and Prioritization: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Language Skills: Fluency in Spanish is required, with at least an intermediate level of English.
- Location Preference: Candidates based in Barcelona and eligible to sign an internship agreement will be given preference.
