We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Application Specialist to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in providing technical support and expertise to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance and guidance to customers via various channels, including email, phone, and in-person interactions.
- Collaborate with internal experts to resolve complex technical issues and challenges.
- Document customer interactions and feedback in our CRM system to inform product development and improvement efforts.
- Develop and maintain knowledge databases, websites, and other technical resources to support customer needs.
- Deliver technical updates and training to colleagues and participate in department meetings.
- Participate in ongoing training and education on new products, applications, and technologies.
- Contribute to special projects and initiatives as needed.
Requirements
- Master's degree in a life science or related field, or Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of laboratory experience and a strong scientific background.
- Prior experience in customer-facing roles or technical support is highly desirable.
- Fluency in English and French for both written and verbal communication is required.
- Strong customer focus and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to learn complex technical information quickly and balance multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in digital tools, including spreadsheets, databases, and internet applications.
