About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled CAD Technician to join our team at Aecom. As a CAD Technician, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of various projects, including drainage, potable and wastewater networks, and flood modeling.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and adhere to project CAD standards
- Prepare finished design drawings from sketches, notes, and layout details in CAD 2D and 3D
- Work in engineering project collaboration software platforms (i.e., ProjectWise, Autodesk Construction Cloud)
- Self-check drawings for quality assurance, following the QAQC procedure in force in the project
- Collaborate with colleagues in a team-based environment
Requirements
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and personal resilience to working to strict timelines and different styles of leadership
- CAD software (preferable AutoCAD/Civil 3D and/or MicroStation/OpenRoads Designer) accreditation will be considered favorable
- Communicative level of English (oral and written)
Preferred Qualifications
- Certificated in a drafting technology Institute, Technical or similar Professional Education or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
