About Amazon LogisticsAmazon Logistics is a fast-paced and dynamic division within Amazon, responsible for handling last-mile delivery duties. We are seeking an experienced Area Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional customer experience.
A Day in the Life
You will work on a shift pattern at one of our sites, overseeing daily operational responsibilities, process improvements, and quality standards. Your main focus will be to own and drive a culture of safety, uphold quality and shift performance standards, and implement changes to keep quality and productivity at a consistently high level.
Your Responsibilities
- Create and oversee a culture of safety and wellbeing
- Analyse and implement changes to improve quality and productivity
- Oversee projects to streamline processes and increase quality of service for customers
- Work collaboratively with management-level colleagues to standardise shift practices
About You
We are looking for an experienced people manager with relevant experience in communication, data analysis, and leadership. You should have a degree and advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and local language. Experience working with Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen techniques is preferred.
Salary Range$85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
