Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement system data standards, policies, and procedures to ensure system data integrity, compliance, and availability.
- Conduct system data quality audits and lead initiatives to improve data quality.
- Collaborate with IT teams and system data owners to implement and enforce data governance framework.
- Assist in system data management, governance, and system data quality of master data requirements with other functional data owners to ensure functional master data integrity.
- Ensure the internal and external audit controls documentation is provided and stored in the governance sites.
- Respond to system data-related questions and interpret policies and procedures to ensure data integrity, compliance, and privacy.
- Manage and maintain enterprise data assets.
- Train and educate application leaders and Flowserve IT Teams on system data management and governance procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or related field.
- Proven experience as a (System) Data Governance Analyst or similar role.
- Experience level: Senior (7+ years in similar role).
- Proficient in English and Spanish languages.
- Experience in data analysis and management reporting.
- Proficiency in data governance tools.
- Highly organized, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional matrix environment.
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks at one time.
- Work closely with other Flowserve IT teams and 3rd party support and hosting partners.
- Knowledge of system data governance practices, business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets and approaches related to data protection.
- Knowledge of industry leading data quality and data protection management practices.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Travel maximum 15%.
