Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and evolving our cloud data platform, collaborating with other teams on implementing and integrating related business cases, and ensuring the application of best practices and principles described by our data reference architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and evolve our cloud data platform (CDF) that supports our data lake.
- Collaborate with other teams on implementing and integrating related business cases into CDF.
- Ensure the application of best practices and principles described by our data reference architecture.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience working in AWS environments in the data analytics area.
- Familiarity with key AWS services such as Lambda, Glue, Step Functions, S3, IAM, EMR.
- Good understanding of DevOps principles and Well-Architected framework.
- Experience working in Terraform or Cloud Formation for Infrastructure as Code (IAC).
- Strong knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CICD) concepts.
- Proficiency in version control systems like GitHub.
- Familiarity with additional AWS services such as SageMaker, Lake Formation, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, EKS.
- Programming skills in Python, bash shell, Scala, and Spark.
