Job Summary
We are seeking an exceptional DevOps and Cloud Engineer to join our team, focusing on Kubernetes (EKS) and Terraform on AWS. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing our platform using K8s manifests and kustomize + Helm, provisioning infrastructure using Terraform, and collaborating with a small, highly motivated team of engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage DataBeacon's platform using K8s manifests and kustomize + Helm
- Provision infrastructure using Terraform
- Work with a small and highly motivated team of engineers
- Participate in company technical decisions and roadmap
- Space to experiment and try-out new exciting technologies
- Minimal administrative overhead and the possibility to create a real impact
- Submit your first patch in less than a week and the first feature in a month
Requirements
- At least 1+ years of professional experience in DevOps, automation, CD/CI, observability, and reliability
- At least 1+ years of experience with AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and terragrunt
- Good command of English and good communication skills
- Located in Madrid or surroundings
Nice to Have
- Fundamentals of operating systems, databases, and networking
- Experience as a database administrator or Linux OS in general
- Proficiency in Python and/or Rust programming languages
- Professional experience in highly regulated sectors
- Affinity for aviation in general
