Join Argilla's Team as a Senior Lead Frontend Developer

Argilla is an open-source platform for data labeling, specifically designed for language models and MLOps. We're looking for a Lead Frontend Developer to drive the development of our frontend architecture.

About the Role

We're seeking a seasoned Frontend Developer with a strong background in leading engineering teams. As a Senior Lead Frontend Developer, you'll be responsible for driving the development of our frontend architecture, building scalable and high-performance web applications, and collaborating closely with our product and design teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the frontend development team, setting technical direction and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality code.
  • Collaborate with product and design teams to develop and implement new features, ensuring they meet high standards of usability and accessibility.
  • Design and implement a scalable, efficient, and reliable frontend architecture.
  • Drive the adoption of best practices, modern web development tools, and technologies.
  • Apply and enforce coding standards, testing, and documentation practices.
  • Mentor and train engineers, helping them develop their skills and advance in their careers.
  • Participate in code reviews and other quality control activities.
  • Contribute to the analysis, research, and development of new solutions for our frontend product.

Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in a technical leadership role, with experience leading engineering teams.
  • A strong understanding of frontend architecture and design patterns, with experience building scalable and maintainable frontend architectures.
  • Experience with modern web development tools and technologies, such as Webpack, Babel, and ESLint.
  • A strong problem-solving mindset and a passion for delivering high-quality software.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams.
