SAP Basis System Administrators are responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of SAP systems. This includes handling tickets, resolving incidents, and addressing problems to maintain system stability and security.

The Opportunity

As a SAP Basis System Administrator, you will work on various support tasks using the latest technologies and approaches. Your primary focus will be on maintaining and supporting SAP systems to ensure optimal performance.

Your Responsibilities
  • Addressing and resolving tickets, incidents, and problems related to SAP Basis administration.
  • Providing ongoing maintenance and technical support for SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO, etc.).
  • Monitoring system performance and ensuring system availability, stability, and security.
  • Collaborating with functional and technical teams to troubleshoot issues across environments.
  • Performing system copies, patching, upgrades, kernel updates, and transport management.
  • Supporting user and authorization management activities.
  • Participating in root cause analysis for critical incidents and system downtimes.
  • Monitoring and managing SAP HANA and/or traditional database performance (DB2, Oracle, SQL Server).
  • Managing print queues, background jobs, and spool issues.
  • Troubleshooting RFC, IDoc, and middleware (PI/PO or CPI) integration issues.
  • Collaborating with functional and infrastructure teams to resolve cross-functional technical issues.
  • Utilizing SAP Solution Manager for system monitoring, EWA reports, and CHARM.

  • Strong problem-solving skills focused on incident and ticket resolution.
  • Proficiency in system monitoring tools.
  • Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English.
