About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hydraulic Engineer to join our team in Madrid. As a key member of our Water Consultancy Division, you will play a crucial role in delivering hydraulic engineering services on a range of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Associate or Principal Hydraulic Engineers in leading and delivering a programme of projects
  • Deliver hydraulic engineering services on a range of projects, including transmission pipelines, surge analysis, and hydraulic design of water and wastewater treatment works
  • Produce and review engineering calculations, specifications, drawings, and reports
  • Manage design risk to deliver constructable design solutions
  • Identify and support continuous improvement of procedures and processes to drive efficiency and innovation
  • Mentor junior colleagues and provide technical guidance and advice on best practice in hydraulic design
  • Engage regularly with clients and stakeholders to ensure efficient delivery of projects
Requirements
  • Significant technical experience of pressurised and open-channel hydraulics applied to the field of civil engineering
  • Experience in development of hydraulic calculations and hydraulic profiles for water and wastewater treatment works
  • Proven ability to lead delivery of technical projects and control project budgets
  • Chartered membership of a relevant professional chartered institution
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
