Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our team at W Executive España. As a key member of our Financial Division, you will be responsible for leading our financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all standard financial reporting activities are completed on time and accurately for statutory and tax purposes.
- Oversee the governance of the site closing process, working closely with our Headquarters in France to prepare monthly and yearly closing and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with accounting rules, both locally and under IFRS.
- Analyze business and economic performance, including sales, marketing, selling, and general expenses by cost center, to ensure control.
- Conduct profit analysis, including volumes, cost deep dives, and product margin, as well as cash generation analysis.
- Ensure cost control for the site versus profit plan/prior forecast expectations.
- Lead the annual planning process and forecast.
- Monitor, analyze, and comment on monthly results against budget/planning or last year's performance.
- Develop remediation action plans as needed and follow up on their implementation.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing timely and accurate ad-hoc reports and analyses.
- Prepare weekly cash reporting and monthly cash projection.
- Coordinate local teams of peers in Valladolid.
- Occasional travel to Group to coordinate pivot product lines reporting.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent.
- 10-15 years of experience in controlling/finance or another strong analytical field.
- Strong financial and analytical skills.
- Solid knowledge of controlling techniques and processes.
- Goal-oriented, with excellent prioritization and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral.
- Knowledge of French is a definite plus.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Experience with SAP or Navision is a plus.
- Experience with Power BI and Business Intelligence tools is a plus.
