Job Title: Social Media Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Social Media Manager to join our team at Volotea Alaeo Sl. As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy to support key commercial and organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and roll-out Volotea's consumer social media strategy to support key commercial and organizational objectives.
  • Be a brand advocate, working closely with Brand, Marketing and PR to align and co-ordinate best practices in social media and engagement channels.
  • Define and lead the yearly engagement strategy and plan, with KPIs and ROI as measurable objectives.
  • Co-ordinate internal and external strategic partners (agencies, production partners...).
  • Liaise with communications agencies in different markets.
  • Identify opportunities and stories that will help Volotea breakthrough in the category and beyond, driving engagement and positive brand perception.
  • Build outstanding relationships with executive level managers across departments and with key external partners.
  • Collaborate and lead to advance agreed agendas, activities and milestones related to the scope of work.
  • Proactively widen the engagement ecosystem to help impact brand sentiment/reach/perception.
  • Lead on social channels monthly communications calendar & plan for each market, prioritizing activity and driving engagement throughout the year.
  • Own KPIs and analytics and reporting of channels managed.
  • Set annual investment priorities in partnership with Volotea's Marketing team.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • The ideal candidate will be a professional with 3 to 5 years of experience in marketing/Social Media.
  • Strong understanding and experience working with social media metrics, tools and best practices.
  • Experience in influencer marketing and working with brand ambassadors is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English.
  • Creative thinking, resourceful, self-starter and a collaborative team player.
  • Ability to take ownership of medium sized or large projects that support social/marketing needs.
  • Outstanding attention to detail is required in this role.
