Technical Lead for Full Stack Web Applications

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead for Full Stack Web Applications to join our team at Blue Code Solutions.

As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for driving the design, development, and maintenance of cutting-edge web applications. With over 40 years of experience in training and personal development, we are embarking on a new journey to build a state-of-the-art global learning and development platform.

This platform will enable employees of large companies to continuously develop themselves in a customized and transparent manner, partly powered by Artificial Intelligence.

About the Role

  • You will lead the development team in designing, building, and maintaining web applications.
  • You will oversee both backend (Node.js) and frontend (React) development.
  • You will collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders.
  • You will define and prioritize project requirements.
  • You will ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness.
  • You will participate and mentor developers to promote best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
  • You will implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate development processes.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years experience in full stack development.
  • Strong expertise in Node.js and React.
  • Proven experience leading a development team.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
  • Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux).
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
  • Experience with AWS infrastructure and services.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in an international environment.
  • English B2 level or higher is required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
  • Willingness to work onsite in Alicante 1-2 days per week with the rest of the team.
