Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Partner Account Manager to join our team at Acronis. As a key member of our Inside Sales Channel Management organization, you will be responsible for driving quarter-over-quarter cloud revenue growth through assigned partners.

Main Responsibilities

  • Drive cloud revenue growth through assigned partners
  • Perform territory analysis and planning for dedicated geographies to identify top potential partners
  • Develop and execute account plans with managed partners, taking into account their engagement, loyalty, and responsiveness
  • Train new and existing partners on existing and new products
  • Guide partners through onboarding and enablement, equipping them with necessary knowledge, resources, and tools
  • Motivate and enable partners to sell Acronis services to their existing customer base, attract new customers, and retain existing ones
  • Drive partner satisfaction and act as a trusted advisor and single point of contact throughout the partner lifecycle
  • Develop and execute successful upsell/cross-sell initiatives with partners to increase new services attach rate
  • Put maximum effort to avoid churn and retain partners
  • Engage and orchestrate internal resources to support partner growth
  • Profile managed partners on vendors and tools they sell/use, maintaining accurate information in Partner Passport
  • Lead partners through their lifecycle management, educating, evangelizing, and making commitments
  • Maintain regular contact with partners based on priority

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of sales and marketing experience in the MSP channel software industry in similar positions such as channel sales, partner account management, or channel development
  • Proven experience in a Cyber Security company demonstrating a strong understanding of industry practices and protocols
  • Experience in selling Professional Service Automation (PSA) or Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) software services
  • In-depth channel and field sales knowledge with an understanding of the cloud market business model
  • Strong presentational, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly articulate product features and answer customer questions
  • Self-motivated with a high level of discipline, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with a positive attitude, eager to help out and view challenging situations as opportunities
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and willingness to adapt to changes in responsibilities and strategies
  • Highly persistent in follow-up conversations, negotiations, and closing sales skills
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Passion and commitment to succeed by working hard and never giving up
