Senior Language Expansion Engineer for Siri and Information Intelligence

Drive Product Impact with Siri
As a Senior Language Expansion Engineer on the Siri Response team at Apple, you will play a key role in driving product impact by developing and optimizing machine learning models for Siri's voice, responses, and user interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain fine-tuning and optimizing machine learning models for text-to-speech and acoustic models of Siri.
- Work with engineering partners to develop processes, tools, and frameworks for building and analyzing ML models.
- Implement ideas directly in the TTS engine in production, impacting hundreds of millions of users.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in text-to-speech, speech recognition, NLP, or related fields.
- Experience in data-to-model processing in multiple languages, including data analysis and visualization.
- Strong foundation in building tools and frameworks using PyTorch/Tensorflow for AI/ML applications.
- Strong expertise in programming: Python/other languages.
- Ability to drive projects of varying sizes and scopes, and ability to dig deep.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to naturally explain difficult technical topics.
Education & Experience:
Master's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, or a related field.
