**Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Safety Specialist to join our team at Amazon Spain Fulfillment, S.L.U. As a key member of our Health and Safety (EHS) team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and safety of our employees and customers.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist in the development and implementation of safety performance metrics and monitoring programs.
- Facilitate and arrange training programs on critical EHS issues, including risk assessment and compliance with local and EU legislation.
- Support the implementation of EHS programs within Fulfillment Center Operations, including the coordination of incident prevention programs and the preparation of responses to insurers or solicitors.
- Contribute to the development of incident prevention programs and participate in the EU Fulfillment Center EHS Safety Audit Programme.
- Assist with the coordination and training of new Health and Safety team members and act as a proxy for the EHS Manager as needed.
- Arrange and conduct basic surveys and checks in the Fulfillment Center environment to identify areas for improvement.
**Requirements:**
- Master's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in Spanish and fluent English.
- Understanding of Spanish Environment, Health and Safety legislation and EU regulations.
- Experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of driving safety improvements and compliance.
