Westlake Chemical is seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer to join our team. As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient execution of projects, with a focus on automation and digital transformation. You will work closely with the team to enhance the plant's operations and achieve the goals and objectives outlined in the Site Master Plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the safe and timely execution of projects, with a focus on automation and digital transformation.
  • Develop and implement standards and procedures for technological projects, including automation, industry 4.0, and IT.
  • Responsible for compliance with all local regulations and Westlake standards.
  • Deliver assigned projects in time, cost, scope, and quality agreed.
Requirements
  • Engineering or equivalent degree.
  • Postgraduate specialization in Electricity/Automation/New Technologies or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a similar position (>5 years).
  • Industry experience (>10 years preferred).
  • Fluent English at the conversation level.
  • Detailed knowledge of HMI and control platforms.
  • Ability to develop and diagnose programming at Siemens and Delta V.
