Salary

The salary for this position is up to £45k per annum, plus bonus and overtime (OTE £50k) with excellent company benefits.

Job Description

This exciting opportunity requires an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor to join our busy workshop in Trafford Park. As part of a team of professionals, you will undertake inspections of damaged vehicles, assessing the full extent of the damage, costs of repair, and timeframes. A key aspect of this job is identifying the correct prescribed repair method, preparing, recording, and maintaining electronic and manual estimates. You will then effectively liaise with insurance companies to obtain their authority to repair the vehicle at the estimated costs. Additionally, you will work closely with customers, engineers, and technicians to explain and ensure they understand the repair methodology.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • ATA / IMI qualified
  • Solid Bodyshop background
  • Full UK driving licence
