Our Opportunity
We are seeking a talented Junior PowerApps Developer to join our team at Zurich Insurance Company. As a Junior PowerApps Developer, you will have the opportunity to work with our team of experienced engineers to design and build innovative applications that meet the needs of our customers.
Your Role
As a Junior PowerApps Developer, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Developing applications using Microsoft Power Platform.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and deliver new features.
- Analyzing customer needs and designing, documenting, testing, and developing software to meet functional and non-functional requirements.
- Acquiring technical expertise on aspects of our IT infrastructure, software applications, architecture, and hardware to provide guidance to internal customers.
- Providing support for production issues.
- Working collaboratively with the team in an Agile methodology.
- Completing work within established estimates and communicating status and issues promptly.
Your Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Fluency in English, Spanish, or Catalan.
- Basic knowledge of a programming language, preferably C#.NET or Angular.
Nice to Have
The following skills and qualifications are highly desirable:
- Knowledge of other frameworks, programming languages, or REST API services.
- PowerApps/Power Platform expertise.
- PowerBI knowledge.
- Experience with testing (Unit Testing or SIT/UAT functional testing).
