Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Section Waiter to join our No35 dining team at Sofitel Melbourne on Collins. As a 5-star luxury hotel, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service with a unique flair.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a section of the restaurant, ensuring a warm welcome and fond farewell for our guests. They will be knowledgeable and passionate about Food & Wine, taking our guests on a culinary journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a section of the restaurant, ensuring a high level of service and guest satisfaction
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of our menu and wine list
  • Provide exceptional service to guests, ensuring a warm welcome and fond farewell
  • Work collaboratively with the No35 team to deliver a unique and memorable dining experience

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel or restaurant
  • Strong focus on guest and team relations
  • Ability to work a rotating roster, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays
  • Valid RSA
