CSL Vifor is a global leader in nephrology and iron deficiency, dedicated to improving patient outcomes through innovation and scientific excellence. We are seeking an experienced Country Medical Director Iberia to lead our medical affairs activities in Spain and Portugal.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive medical strategy and engage with key stakeholders to ensure the highest standards of scientific and clinical excellence.
  • Lead a highly motivated and well-trained Medical team, setting clear objectives and monitoring performance.
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date scientific and medical knowledge, and expertise in therapeutic areas and products.
  • Coach team members on key competencies and monitor performance, taking actions to course correct when required.
  • Collaborate closely with brand leads and market access to shape the brand strategy and support local and regional access plans and submissions.
Requirements:
  • Medical Education (MD) degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in pharma industry in Medical Affairs and/or Clinical Development at affiliate level.
  • Minimum 2 years proven experience in people management in Medical Affairs with strong leadership skills.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (verbal and writing).
