Job Title: Oracle DBA

We are seeking an experienced Oracle DBA to join our team at Blue Code Alicante. As an Oracle DBA, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Oracle RDBMS environments, ensuring optimal performance and security.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain Oracle RDBMS environments
  • Build and configure new Oracle RDBMS environments
  • Perform performance tuning on RDBMS, O/S, storage, and SQL areas
  • Implement cloning, replication, and backup and recovery strategies using Rman
  • Provide proactive advice on Oracle environment optimization
  • Support other colleagues in their database-related tasks
  • Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and events
Requirements:
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as an Oracle DBA (RDBMS 12 to 19)
  • Knowledge and experience with optimization and backup and recovery using Rman
  • Knowledge and experience with at least one of the following: Oracle DataGuard, Fusion middleware, Weblogic OSB/Bpel, JBoss, Oracle KVM/OVM, and/or Oracle Enterprise Manager (Cloud Control, Grid Control)
  • OCP 12 or Oracle Database Certified Professional 2019 is an advantage
  • English language proficiency at a minimum B2 level is required
