**Job Summary**

Empresa Reconocida is seeking a highly skilled Product Assurance Engineer to oversee the effective implementation of our Quality Management System. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining our Quality Manuals and Procedures, organizing and managing our internal audit system, and hosting external Quality System audits.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and implement Quality Management System policies and procedures to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to Quality Management System policies and procedures.
  • Host external Quality System audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Provide training on Quality issues and business processes to company employees.
  • Collaborate with the engineering department to ensure functional safety projects meet DO-254/DO-178C compliant standards.
  • Perform Hazard and Risk assessments in accordance with applicable standards such as ARP4761, ARP4754, and MIL-STD-882E.
  • Develop and implement corrective action plans to address any quality issues or non-conformities.

**Requirements**

  • High written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience working in functional safety projects.
  • Knowledge of functional safety engineering, assessment, and methodology in safety-critical domains.
  • Knowledge of RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety).
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer orientation.
  • Proactivity in proposing improvements in processes and procedures.
