Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Architect to join our team at BCG Platinion. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing technology strategies that drive digital transformation for our clients. This is a unique opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who share your passion for innovation and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities as a Senior IT Architect will include:
- Evaluating and coaching our clients' technology teams to ensure they have the skills and expertise needed to succeed in today's digital landscape.
- Defining technology strategies and architecture solutions that meet our clients' business needs and objectives.
- Developing and growing by being exposed to new and complex challenges daily.
- Supporting technical implementations actively and on-site, applying your sound technical know-how and understanding of business contexts.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Between 6 - 10 years of experience in data strategy, technical project management, or technology consulting with a proven track record in leading IT implementation projects.
- Fluency in English and Spanish (Mandatory).
- Technical skills including proficiency in designing and managing scalable, high-availability cloud architectures using major cloud service providers like AWS, Azure, GCP, and Oracle Cloud.
- Experience with cloud security management, including identity and access management (IAM), security groups, and compliance policies.
- Data Systems Expertise including deep understanding of cloud data services like Amazon S3, Azure Blob Storage, Google Cloud Storage, and comprehensive knowledge of cloud-based database services such as Amazon RDS, Azure SQL Database, and Google Cloud SQL.
- Expertise in cloud-based data integration and ETL tools like AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, and Google Cloud Dataflow.
- Desirable Expertise including experience in developing and enforcing cloud governance policies to ensure cost management, security compliance, and resource optimization within the cloud environment.
- Proficient in implementing cloud security strategies, including the use of tools for continuous monitoring and threat detection.
- Strong analytical mindset for evaluating complex IT application landscapes and optimizing development processes.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and provide technical leadership.
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in data architecture to guide strategic decisions and innovations.
- Industry Experience including strong experience in either the banking or energy sector, demonstrating a proven track record in major projects and innovations within one of these industries.
